Practice area · personal injury

The most contested content market in law.

Personal injury is where legal content marketing is hardest, most expensive and least forgiving. Shallow pages do not place. This is what it takes to compete.

Why PI is different

Everyone is spending, and your reader is in crisis.

Two things make personal injury content unlike any other practice area. The first is competition: PI carries some of the highest advertising costs in any industry, which means every firm in your market is already investing, and content that merely exists is invisible against that.

The second is the reader. Someone searching for a personal injury lawyer is often injured, unable to work, already being called by an insurance adjuster, and frightened about money in a way they have not been before. They are not comparing brands. They are trying to work out whether they are about to be taken advantage of.

Content written for that person is specific, calm and complete. Content written to fill a page is obvious to them within about ten seconds.

The build

What a personal injury silo actually contains.

Built in this order, so each piece strengthens the ones already published.

01  Hub

The main personal injury page

The page that establishes the firm handles injury work at all. Negligence, damages, the claims process, deadlines, what to do after an accident, and how fees work — because contingency fees are the single most common thing prospective clients quietly want explained.

02  Case types

One page per case type

Car, truck, motorcycle, pedestrian, bicycle, rideshare, premises liability, dog bite, wrongful death, product liability. Each is a separate search intent with different liability rules, different insurers and different injury profiles. Collapsing them into one page loses all of them.

03  Locations

Real local detail

Which court hears the case, local filing practice, the roads and industries that actually generate claims there.

04  Questions

The valuation and timeline articles

What is my case worth. How long will it take. What if I was partly at fault. Should I accept this offer. High demand, constantly asked.

05  Injuries

Injury-specific pages

Traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, burns, amputation. Severe-injury searches carry the highest case value in the whole category.

Jurisdiction

Generic PI content gets caught on the details.

Comparative fault is the clearest example. In a pure comparative fault state a client who was 90% responsible can still recover something. In a modified comparative state the bar is 50% or 51% depending on where you are. In the few contributory negligence jurisdictions, 1% of fault can defeat the claim entirely.

A page that says “you may still be able to recover if you were partially at fault” without saying which rule applies is not just vague, it is potentially misleading to the person reading it. Damage caps, statutes of limitation, notice requirements for claims against public entities and insurance minimums all vary the same way.

Every page is researched against the jurisdiction it is written for. That is slower. It is also the whole reason the page is worth publishing.

One constraint worth stating

We will not invent your results.

Case results and testimonials are among the most persuasive things a personal injury page can carry, and we structure pages to use them well. But the outcomes and their verification come from you.

Fabricated or unverifiable results are an attorney advertising rules problem in most states, and a trust problem everywhere. If a page needs a number to work, it needs to be a real one.

Personal injury questions

What PI firms ask

What makes personal injury content different?

The competition and the stakes. Personal injury is the most contested content category in legal marketing, and the reader is often injured, unable to work and dealing with an insurer already. Content that covers the basics and stops is invisible in that market.

What pages should a personal injury firm have?

A page per case type — car, truck, motorcycle, pedestrian, slip and fall, wrongful death — plus location pages for the markets served, and articles answering the valuation, timeline and fault questions clients ask constantly.

Do you write case results?

We structure the pages for them, but the results and their verification come from you. Fabricated or unverifiable outcomes are an advertising rules problem as well as a trust problem.

How is jurisdiction handled?

Comparative fault rules, damage caps and filing deadlines vary by state and get researched per page. Generic personal injury content gets caught on exactly those details.
